A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR:   "Why The Gates Are Important?"
What reads like a long list of names attached to a genealogy chart in Nehemiah 8, is actually an important piece of information regarding the people who were responsible for working on the gates of the wall. With the walls constructed, the enemy could now easily gain access by way of one of the 10 gates. Nehemiah knew that the work was not totally completed without the gates being repaired. Each Sunday, as people walk through doors (gates), they enter the sanctum of God’s sacred dwelling place where we meet with God. This place is rich with God’s presence, purpose and power. This is why the gates are important.
The congregation of New Vision United Methodist invites you to join our church community as we celebrate and worship in our new Family Life Center. At New Vision we have ministries and programming in place to meet the needs of a diverse community including families, youth and seniors.

Please remember we offer a Community Food Pantry pick-up the Third Thursday of each month from 11:00 - 2:00 p.m.
